An ambassador has a specific, appointed task. The ambassador represents the leader of his or her country and speaks for that leader, who often resides in a faraway country. If the ambassador fails to represent the sovereign faithfully, then it is an act of treason. As ambassadors of Christ (2 Cor. 5:20), we have responsibilities and need to know “How to Tell People about Jesus.
